Angels Double Plays

I'm pretty sure in the double-play at 0:37 Aybar doesn't touch the base. However, there is a sound that may be him tagging the bag. Also, nice soundbyte from Erick around 1:41. I don't know what FOX was talking about when they said they went through the double plays and there was always a touch of the base. Very good thing this call didn't come into play.

If he does touch the bag

He does it so lightly it has no effect on his stride. The only place he could have touched it is with hid right foot while crossing over the bag, and if he does, again, it’s incredibly light.

the DP in the 7th

Aybar swipes his foot on the side of the bag which is considered touching it…just like when players run the bases and never really step on each base but rather push off the side of each one. the last DP he straddles the base and never even gets close to the side of it.
