MLB in the Community
Aloha fellow HH'ers!
For my school community service project, I have created a blog that spotlights the charitable efforts of MLB players, such as our very own Torii Hunter, and others like Curtis Granderson and Barry Zito, with more to come. Using Google AdSense, I hope to generate money to donate to one or more of the players' foundations (such as the Torii Hunter Project). But I need your help to generate site traffic! (Sorry to advertise on HH, Rev, but I thought this would be a good place to get the word out.) Anyway, here is the link to the site:
I would really appreciate it if you just took a moment to check it out. =)
Note: This is NOT me telling/asking you to compulsively view the site or click on the ads (in fact, too much traffic and/or ad-clicks from the same IP address will raise red flags and Google will cancel my AdSense account).
Thanks!

CHARITY? Reminds me of the old Steve Martin joke:
I do a lot of work with unwed mothers. Just helping them get their start.

Any ideas on what other players you're gonna do?

mmm
maybe some yankees, but i’m waiting till after the ALCS to do those…
I think I’ll probably cover most of the Roberto Clemente Award nominees (pujols, konerko, markakis, michael young etc.)
…any particular suggestions?

not sure how it fulfills 'community service'
But what Suzuki and his wife have done for Jon W and his family is very admirable in my book
absolutely
he’s on the list too… just forgot to mention it
