PTI Hi-Def Video Shows Saliva Missing Rivera's Ball
Hosts Tony Kornheiser and Mike Wilbon put to rest any suspicion about the saliva scandal with a nationally-broadcast replay of yesterday's video in HI-DEF that clearly reveals saliva passing the ball the pitcher was holding and sailing downward past his hand toward earth.
Wilbon inferred, however, that baseball has no moral high ground to play "innocent until proven guilty" when it comes to players seeking an edge on the field (aka "cheating").
Now... if it had been Brendan Donnelly with a smidgen of resin on his glove would the case be closed so fast?
