I'm sort of shocked this hasn't been mentioned already.
I heard it this morning on the Sports Lodge, and then promptly forgot for a few hours. Anyway, he totally deserves it. I love the quote from Abreu in the article.

We clone him now, that way when little Sothie is out of baseball-training, Big Soth is getting ready to retire, and then Lil Soth comes in and takes over….then we have Soth FOREVER!! (Downside is cal1forn1aangels cries for a long time, too…)

two points:
1) doyer fans are ready to jump off a bridge especially if the doyer’s get eliminated
2) w/both managers coming from teams west of the mississippi will the coverage on espn be like the tree falling in the woods w/nobody around?
