Have hope.
I'm probably the last person here to suggest this, seeing as how I'm as pessimistic as they come, but I don't feel that bad. Sure, we got blown out but I don't think yesterday was going to be our game in the first place - I could blame the officiating all I like but it just looked like the Yanks were into it and the Halos weren't, for whatever reason.
We hit CC hard in the beginning but right at people and, eventually, we just kind of tapered out. And, in the end, even though the score was 10-1, I'm not too upset about it. This morning, I was expecting myself to just kind of wallow around in dejection but I didn't, in fact, I found myself looking forward to tomorrow and Saturday.
Maybe I'm in denial or just delusional but I kind of pictured it this way (not exactly at 1-3). I saw the games going this way: one blowout, one comeback, one ugly game, and that's it. I don't see the Yanks winning one more game. Most of us picked Angels in seven, anyways, right? Well, all we need to do is win one here and two there. That doesn't seem so monumental or daunting, it seems completely do-able.
From this point on, all we have to do is play our game. Screw FOX, screw the analysts, screw the reporters, screw the umpires, screw the Yanks. We just play our game and we win. Simple as that.
So keep that champagne on ice and get that plastic out of our fucking stadium. Don't despair, Halo fans. Keep the faith and have hope. Think WE WILL WIN, not we can, and I'll see you at the parade a few weeks from now yelling my ass off.

Nice post...
I was pretty down over last night’s game. However, remembering THIS GAME makes me feel better about our chances.
2002 World Series Game 4, Giants SIXTEEN, Angels FOUR. Giants lead the series 3 games to 2.
I love this team.

yeah and not only that
I keep thinking about us down 3-2 facing elimination at our house in GM 6 and we’re down 5-0. And like Scioscia just said. Players were seeing the ball and putting good wood on it but hitting it right at players and not seeing much results. Until that one magical moment. And as soon as that one hit by spezio came off his bat, the opposition knew it was over.

I'm not burying the Angels yet
I’ve seen the offense do a 180 all of a sudden after a slump, and if that happens tomorrow, I know it can carry them over a three game stretch.

Comebacks
I remember a game in ’86 against the Tigers. Down 12-5 going into the ninth. Scored 8 times, last on a Dick Schofield grand slam. There is always hope. So never say die.

I remember that game also!
That game made you think that ’86 was going to be a special year

Ya gotta believe!
It could happen! Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
