Are They "Fans" Who Turn on the Angels?
When I listen to the talk shows on AM830 I am always surprised to hear so many Angels "fans" who agrily lash out at Mike S. or the players. Their words and tone of voice are more than frustrated. They sound like enemies, not friends.
I've always felt sorry for boys whose dads angrily yell and scream at them in Little League.
That type of behavior hurts but doesn't help.
On the other hand, I LOVE IT when I hear fans who call in with support, encouragement and criticisms presented in a positive way. I think that most of the Angels fans are truly FOR their team. I encourage you fans who support the team no matter how bummed out you are about losses to call into the shows.
And one more thing: You can NEVER count our Angels out as long as there is game left.

yea i agree with you 100%
I hate when guys are wanting Sosh fired when teams like the Pirates haven’t had a winning season in what like over 15 seasons. Or the Rangers that have sucked since their days in Washington as the Senators. I’ve seen the Angels win one World Series and millions of Cub fans haven’t and will never see their team win a World Series Championship. So those that complain about the Angels not winning can blow it out their asses.

Regarding the Cubs: never say never.
Hell actually could freeze over.

I have heard a lot of crazy shit on am830...
Stupid trade talks, the type of trades that include Pujols and Greinke. Not to mention their lineups that would have Napoli hitting 4th and Vladdy 8th. How many people from HH actually call am830?
They want power, We want respect...

New York may have the reputation for having the most brutal, unforgiving fans around, but I have long believed that the Angels have never been far behind. Angel fans are a grumpy lot, and the ones who’ve been around the longest are the worst. Anyone who has been a fan of this team for 20 years has seen a LOT of potential each and every season turn into horrible disappointment at the end and it makes some people bitter.

You're right about the New York thing.
It takes A LOT to be excepted by us as a player. We’re still debating about whether or not Arod is a “true” yankee. We will NEVER let anybody on any team forget an error they made against us.

You all became doubters as of 2004
A 3-0 deficit is insurmountable in ANY SPORT. However, the Yankees found a way to lose it. Even our shitty Angel team never did something that lame, one ring and all. Not sure I’d take 26 rings mostly when I was not even alive if it meant losing a 3 nil lead. Sorry, man.
I love this team.
