Of Course The HALOS CAN WIN
1 GAME AT A TIME
When I'm not at the stadium, I'd rather be watching my Halos back in Costa Rica!
1 game at a time, for all 9 innings.
Just another Halo victory

One pitch, one AB, one inning at a time.
Limit the errors and get some timely hits. That should at least get us to game 7. Otherwise, Spring Training is only 4 months away…
Of course
(insert cliche about 1 game at a time here, as if new york is not playing 1 game at a time either.)
Certain guys need to step up in order to win 3 games in a row. If they don’t, season over. We’re gonna see very soon.
Still got faith.
What do you need a fancy suit for, Charlie, you ain't got no job to wear it to.
What's unfortunate...
…the series SHOULD be tied at 2-2. Unfortunately, Fuentes gave up the HR to A-Roid in game 2. Oh well…coulda, woulda, shoulda…
I think about that Spezio home run a lot :-(
Aaron King is still my homeboy... iffy mechanics and all
McFAQ for all you newcomers out there.
GET THAT VORP AND WHIP SH!T OUTTA HERE!!!
I told you guys back in July
you should have traded for Heath Bell.
We're boned.

So do I ...
It brings goose bumps and chills to my spine every time.
I love this team.

my first memory as an angel fan
was hendu crushing my hopes and dreams… as a 6 year old.
I’d like to say 2002 erased that, but actually beating the sox this year did.
So, i figure I’ll get over Brian F’n Fuentes in my mid 50s… unless we do something about this shit in the next three games!

Way to boil it down Rev!
win – travel – win – win. Sounds good to me…
Hey wait...
there’s no “no” option on that poll. This thing is rigged!
Just curious
How long until you let that go?
Let's leave it at this...
Don’t hold your breath
This team is our extended family, That's why we love them no matter what the record, no matter what the score.

ummm....I didn't vote.
The Angels are a warm weather team, I just can’t imagine them wanting to get on an airplane and freeze to death one more time.
I've got nothing.
As opposed to the eskimos CC Sabathia, Andy Pettit, Robinson Cano, Melky Cabrera, Alex Rodriguez
etc etc.
As if these guys are more adept to cold weather more than anyone on the angels.

Well Boys & Girls...
The Doyers are officially out. Looks like it’s up to our boys to defend the honor of West Coast baseball.
(switching to Dragon-slayer mode)
God needed a starter. RIP #34
Slim Chance
If we are going to win this series it will have to be because the offense scores runs and pitching doesn’t allow runs. If we lose it will be because that didnt happen not because of some conspiracy.
Like a parlay ticket: difficult but not impossible
Lackey can take Burnett; then Saunders can take Pettite. Atter that it’s all hands on deck. Obviously if key hitters don’t produce they’re toast. But on the pitching end they need to show some ba**s as well. Why haven’t we seen a Yankee brushed back yet? Angel pitchers do not own the inside corner of the plate and haven’t all season. I’m not saying that a Yankee should get hit— but if they’re camping out over the plate.
I want to see a high-and-tight pitch to A-Rod...
not to hit him, mind you… just to get him uncomfortable at the plate. I didn’t like his commentary about being comfortable playing in Anaheim comments. He is TOO comfortable.
I love this team.

I agree, but I want to see the next batter after a homerun get it between the letters.
These guys are teeing off. Pegging A-Roid is a great idea.

Bud Selig doesn't want an all red Series.
It will be too hard for idiot play-off-only baseball fans to follow if it’s Phils and Angels. Ha ha. My idea is, make the Phillies change back to their maroon and powder blue unies. They looked better back then anyway.
No matter what happens from here on, it has been a great season.
Can The Angels Do It?
Shit…I sure the hell hope so.
I voted YWC (Torii said the fans are the 10th element, and I believe it to be true)
I hope we at the least can save some face, and take this back to NY…though I will hate to see them celebrate on their own turf (that’s if we do end up falling on our ass) It may be good for some of our future/current players to watch. Like some of the Doyers did tonight…excluding douche bag of the century MR.
We are about to see what the fuck we are really made of…bottom line!
Note to Angels: Not to sound cliche, but Nut The Fuck Up (cuzz yall…yes all yall are looking like bitches) and do us Loyal Fans Proud…for Nick…for the Best owner in Baseball/Sports and for the Loyal Fucking Fans who bleed for you!
That is all. Best of luck… I will still Be Fan Loyal….Criticize the fuck out of you, but most of all… I will still love the fuck out of ALL of you…….. and support you filthy mofos.
Yes. They can
The question is will they do it? I have no doubt in my mind.
The Big Red Machine V.2 is coming this Fall 2009. Go Halos!
Utterly, Completely, Absolutely No Chance
I’ve computed the odds of the Angels coming back to win the ALCS to be 1 in 498,740,231,703,270,328,798,473,249,807,203,847,390,709,276,876. CC, Kate Hudson, Mystique, Aura, Rudy Giuliani, Nicky Swisher’s Magic Grandma…how the hell can the Angels hope to compete with that kind of mojo?
I’m betting John Kruk’s Last Remaining Testicle that this series is already over. The Yankees are soooooo awesome. The Angels really don’t even need to show up tomorrow. It’s over. Finished. Definitely.
C’mon we’re talking the Yankees, they never choke.
I'll take that 1 / 498,740,231,703,270,328,798,473,249,807,203,847,390,709,276,876
That’s like a .20050518×[10^(-46)]% chance that I could buy out Angels Stadium every day for the rest of my life!
What? That was just a joke?!! Awww.
It could happen! Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.

Wait...Wait...Wait. You forgot
Steve Phillips Meatloaf of a boyfriend.
That has got to some how compute…right…
…does it not?
C’mon atleast be real with the HH community and add Teixeira’s wife to your projection.
I unfortunately was right
All I could think about after losing that heartbreaker game 2(which we won!you suck Fuentes!!!!) was facing Sabathia again, and what would happen if he owned us again. I’m praying his fat ass falls down the plane ramp when we head back to that freezer. And YES WE CAN!!!

The Angels can win this and send it back to NY
I’m not ready for this season to end yet….AND there is absolutely no way I want to see the stupid skankies celebrate in our stadium.
It’s time to send this thing back to NY
GO ANGELS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The guys just need to go out there and have fun...
they need to stop pressing, just go out and play the game.
That being said, I have a feeling we take this game tonight.
As for Game 6 and 7 they don’t matter right now.
Keep Fighting Boys!
2009 Angels Season: Let's Do This For Nick
we hve the right go going tonite...
in Lackey.
But we have to hit. Can depend on scoring only 3-4 runs.
When we won it in 2002, we did because we mashed.
Different kind of club now, I know, but we have to start hitting.
If they can pull this out, I'd be the happiest man on the planet.
But until then, I’m in Halos Hell. :P
Let's win one for Adenhart #34
HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!!!
secret to winning (so Far)...
good hitting beats bad pitching
my first playoff game in 4 years
I’m sure hoping so…
TONIGHT WE RIDE! GO HALOS

Patience
I only had brief, 15-second looks at Tuesday’s game via MLB’s Gameday. My first peek at the game was during the top of the 3rd inning; Kazmir had thrown almost 50 pitches. My next look was at the end of the 3rd inning. Abreu had just struck out—he saw six pitches. I noticed that he had walked in the 1st inning. CC had thrown just 29 pitches up to that point. So out of those 29, Abreu had seen at least 10. That means the other nine Angels’ plate appearences had seen a total of just 19 pitches; just a tad over 2 pitches per at-bat/plate appearence. Yikes! It’s hack-tastic!
That needs to improve tonight.
The '56 LA Angels (PCL) cap logo...a classic.
Clutch brought that to my attention...
I didn’t believe it, until I broke it down:
1st Inning
Figgins 1 pitch 0-0
Abreu 4 pitches 4-0
Hunter 3 pitches 1-1
Guerrero 3 pitches 1-1
2nd Inning
Rivera 4 pitches 1-2 (was 0-2)
Kendricks 2 pitches 0-1
Morales 1 pitch 0-0
3rd Inning
Aybar 1 pitch 0-0
Figgins 3 pitches 1-1
Abreu 6 pitches K 2-2 (was 2-0)
I love this team.
