Dewey Wins!
You too can be a baseball media analyst! Just don't allow your need to be wrong in public to get in the way of your ignorance.
This proves the conspiracy
The umpires and the official scorer have already filed their reports on the Yankees’ Game 6 victory…without even playing the game!
Here's the Angels 2009 American League Championship merchandise....

Seems like the MLB online sales group needs some adult supervision….
Funny, I was about to make the same observation :)

thanks!
i just fixed the text to make it look a little better… so if you want to save it, the newer version looks better (hit refresh).
It's funny 'cause when I saw that on the Times website earlier...
I texted my brother-in-law to tell him about it. He sent back: Dewey Defeats Truman. So when I saw your pic, I sent it to him.
And I gave you credit, just so you know.
Side note-
When I was a punk kid, I used to write your user name on public property in the IE, OC, and LA areas as well as parts of San Diego. I am not bragging, or expressing pride, just saying.
My sincerest apologies to southern California.
Apologies in advance.
AWESOME!
I hope this will be tacked at the top of HH Tuesday morning!

Angels too
They have Angels AL Championship gear for sale too. As long as they are selling the gear for both teams, I don’t see the harm.
vr, Xei
Agreed
They have to have the designs for the shirts ready for the moment the game ends, so they get whoever’s in charge of the photoshop there at MLB to have designs. It’s not like there’s a huge link to it on the front page or anything. You have to dig deep just to find them.
I agree the Yankees/Red Sox get a lot of bias from ESPN and others. But it seems like everyone is blowing every little situation just a bit out of proportion. This is a non-issue.

Why don't you two look at the respective pages and compare the presentation
before you show us all how reasonable you are?
What we've got can't be bought
MLB Network has a bunch of fucks working for them.
yesterday they were talking about how the phillies would matchup against the Al champion. Their version of that bald guy on TBS just totally blew off the Angels. He was so full of himself he mights as well exploded. Mitch put up a weak fight then agreed. Fucking Douches. Thx for your amatuer fucking quality MLB.
Let’s see their sorry asses mopping the floor with their tears on Monday night Baby!!

I noticed that, too
Where’s the Angels “Congrats!” banner?? And, you’ll notice there’re not offering an Angel’s cap. I can see having the stuff ready to sell upon the conclusion of the series, but the big “Congrats Yankees!” banner without one for the Angels is biased and just plain wrong. WTF?!

Links still work....
but if you enter the site thru shop.mlb.com, it appears to have been corrected. Interesting to note the Angels logo that you can roll your mouse over is the smallest and most difficult to see of any of the MLB logos on that page.
I am totally P.O.‘d over this. What a bunch of F’ing idiots. Hope the Yankees can use the t-shirts to dry their tears when they lose game 7 to Big John.
I can only imagine how many inanimate objects could be destroyed in the Angels clubhouse if the team saw this..
I'm tempted to buy one
My wife is a Yankess fan. If they do win then she can where it. If they don’t win then you can bet that I’ll be wearing it!

On the plus side
Maybe they’ve just jinxed themselves big time.

The Pats lost to the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLII
and so had an 18-1 record that year (2007) — but many folks in Boston (like that T-shirt maker) jumped the gun.

This is from the 2008 Superbowl when it was assumed the Patriots were going to destroy the Giants
And then the Giants destroyed the Patriots. Completely and utterly.
RIP Nick Adenhart.

Oh, baloney. The final score was only 17-14.
And the Giants had to pull out the win almost at the very end, and needed a fair share of whistle swallowing to get there.
That is not detroying an opponent. And nothing complete nor utter about it.
I wonder what Lackey must think about how long Sosh has left Rivera in the lineup?
Oh fine
I misremembered. Going for the literary exaggerated effect.
And for the record I think I do like the Patriots a bit better than the Giants.
RIP Nick Adenhart.

I do carry my bitterness...we are cool.
I wonder what Lackey must think about how long Sosh has left Rivera in the lineup?
I just got back from grocery shopping
and was getting excited for the game merely by walking the aisles. No less than 9…count ‘em NINE, people wearing Angels gear; t-shirts, jerseys, hats….it was great. Well, 10….I had my shirt on too. Anytime you passed one, there were big smiles and "we’ll do this TONIGHT"
That was the highlight of my day!
I took my mom for a ride in Carbon Canyon Park yesterday, County Orange,
and saw a guy wearing a Chone Figgins jersey celebrating at a large birthday party. I took that as a sign of things to come.

I was watching cops last night...the Rancho Cucamonga episode
The last commercial they played before they cut back to the episode was an ALCS advertisement…they then immediately panned directly over the Quakes stadium.
I laughed and thought that was a sign of things to come.
Same here, bug
Had breakfast at Chester droors this morning and the place was full of Angels gear…same with trader joes.

Aside from welcome sight of seeing so many people now wearing Halos gear
One thing I noticed at my gym in Santa Monica is the sudden and complete disappearance of all Red Sox hats & T-shirts — totally gone after they first appeared 5 years ago.

Fox didn't even schedule the game
I wasn’t sure if I wold be home in time so I wanted to set my DVR to record the game but the game wasn’t even on the schedule. This means they certainly didn’t thing there would be a game 7.
Well listen up Fox – get your crap together and quit counting the Angels out of this – IT AIN’T OVER!!!!
Well, now it is.
So I guess Fox was right…hmmm, wait a minute…
