Angels bar in NYC?
Because I don't want to be stuck somewhere with a bunch of annoying Yankees fans. So far my google searches haven't turned up anything. Anyone know if there is one? An LA sports oriented bar would also work too.

New Yorkers HATE LA
If one did exist, I am sure it’s been firebombed..
Good luck.

Yeah, no way it would still be standing.
You know that scene from The Patriot where Mel Gibson goes to the pub and says “God save King George” ?
I think that’s the general attitude New Yorkers have toward SoCal sports teams, and the Angels in particular.
Put the Prozac away, what you need is Rat Poison.
Dude
I think you’re good anywhere in New York for the ALDS at least
We are the Los Angeles Angels of the late 2000s

As a NYC resident Angels fan for more than 25 years I don’t know of this “Angels” bar of which you speak. There is at least 1 Red Sox bar, and some bars for various football teams. Your best bet would be to find a bar where they love the Mets and hate the Yankees.
You will probably just have to sit in the corner at an Applebee’s or something with a radio and good noise cancelling headphones.
u from Columbia?
the whole lion thing?

If you come up with something...
…I’d love to join ya. I’ll look/ask around too. Like someone said – should be OK anywhere for the first round. United in hatred, and all that.
