Today's Surf Report
So after trying to fill some word on a post i made a couple of days ago i gave a quick surf report. A couple people liked it so i thought i would give you another.
Toady's surf report report is taken from my home break River Jetty's in Newport Beach at 6:45am.
The surf was a southern hemisphere swell around 2-3 foot occasional head high sets decent shape and very little wind. the water temp seemed to be around 66 the outside air temp was 61 according to my car.
It was a really fun session not crowded and the water temp is still nice.
I hope everyone enjoyed this and remember your never to old to surf..unless you are from the 909 (sorry had to say it).

My dad grew up surfing this break. I tried to be a surfer but you actually have to have some sense of balance. I’m content to be a kook and sponge.

On my way into work @ 11am
Starting at Warner and PCH the surf was small 1-2 feet, but picked up to about 3-4 by the time I reached the pier…countinued to look the same on thru brookhurst where I then had to make my turn.
Conditions looks fair to good. twas overcast.
Haven’t been out in a while, but used to surf NSSA when I was younger (before the drugs and alcohol)
although they're working on relocating that sandbar...

HA, always near Bubble Gum Man.
Haven’t seen him in a while thou. Figured economic hardships got in the way.
Always thought it was weird that he wears #69..

So, can I start doing a snow report?
Do you guys in SoCal even know what that is?
Captain, there are doubt's...
Jump in the shower, turn the water on cold, get nice and wet,
then go stand outside for awhile.

It wont drop below 68F at the stadium, will it? If so, then I better bring my RED Snuggie.

Those ads are hysterical
“Perfect for those drafty dorm rooms”.
Yeah, like any college kid would be caught dead with one.

Sure, we have snow. We drive to it and leave it when we are done “experiencing” it.
What’s that you say? Occasionally you have to dig, like WITH A SHOVEL? to get out of your house? Oh, God, that’s what that big snow plow truck thing is for, isn’t it?
I love this team.

"Sure, we have snow. We drive to it and leave it when we are done "experiencing" it."
Kinda like grandkids?
The problem is that the jerk plow driver
always dumps the berm of snow/ice/gravel and the bottom of MY driveway instead of across the street. Once, just once, is all I ask.
Captain, there are doubt's...
They've been blowing snow at Mt. High for over a week now.
Yeah, i’ve seen it from the Huntington Beach Pier!!!

Let's shred those kooks, bra!
Right after getting barrelled in a tube with some awesome spray from a gnarly off-the-lip.
I love this team.
