Jeff Passan has no idea how good the Angels are....
The ignorance by some of these sportswriters is truly fascinating. Since apparently admitting "I'm not sure" on camera doesn't bode well for these guys careers, they instead decide to just speak nonsense and hope something sticks.
The argument is who will win the ALDS. Here is the link:

It's Jeff Passan and Jose Mota on their respective sides. We know Mota is an Angels homer. Here are some rich comments by Passan.
"Not only are the (Sox) in the Angels' head, they are a better team than the Angels."
Never mind the fact the Angels won the season series and had a better overall record.
"They have better high end starting pitching."
Lackey and Weaver are maybe slightly below Beckett and Lester. But Kazmir blows away Buchholz (who?).
"I will take Lester, Beckett and Buckholz over anything the Angels can throw at me any day"
We have All-Star starters 4th in the rotation and coming out of the bullpen. Really?
"The (Sox) won 95 games in the best division in baseball."
Most of that division seemed to have a hard time against the West. The Orioles and Jays were also auto-wins. Is the east really the best? I don't think so.
"I don't understand what the Angels have that could be better than the Red Sox at this point."
Clearly this guy doesn't actually watch the Angels.
I really hope we prove these idiots wrong this year.

hah.
“I don’t understand what the Angels have that could be better than the Red Sox at this point.”
everybody in sports knows that, at the very least, the angels have better runners than the sux. some even go as far as to say that’ll help the angels win this series. passan was just sad today. that being said, GO ANGELS!
"it's mind-bottling."
I am calling it
Boston is getting blown out tonight – whoever they pitch. Go Angels!

I have a fireman friend in Agawam Mass. and this sounds like words
that commonly come out of Dale’s mouth. To Red Sox* fans beating the Angels is a given. They don’t even entertain the possibility that the Angels could beat them in a post season series. He is my pet chowdah, and I have a lot of fun harassing him about the Angels/Red Sox* rivalry.

I used to keep a pet chowda but it was too much work
So I euthanized it
Play Wood already. Willits sucks.
What amazes me about the "professional pundits",
Is how myopic and fairweather they all are themselves. Until these recent WS wins, I don’t seem to recall the bosux being a perennial playoff or WS favorite or lock. it’s funny what a bunch of bandwagon fans and couple of rings get you.
YOU DON'T KNOW THE POWER OF THE DARKSIDE.....
As much as i hate to say it, us winning this year isnt going to change a damn thing. if we manage to pull the “UPSET” they are just going to label the angels as a fluke cinderella team that just happened to get hot at the right time.
o well, i dont really mind being the perenial underdog. I can assure you scoscia doesnt give a damn about what the “experts” are saying. I think that mentality has even gone down as far as the fans. As angel fans, we should just get used to being constantly overlooked, its not gonna make the wins any sweeter if the pundits actually give the angels their due for once.
In Kobe we trust!
