Any new AS Ticket info been released?

Last I heard, only 2010 season ticket holders get first dibs.

Only $150 grand? Sounds cheap.

Had I owned the Pittsburgh Pirates, I could have saved America.

Wow

I haven’t live in california for a year but it sounds likes things are going great if we have that much money to put flowers on a car

It's called "investing".

Anaheim is justified making some investments in promoting the ASG. It will attract 1000’s of visitors and Anaheim wants to get ahead of hotel reservations, encouraging people to stay within its city limits. This, as opposed to Newport Beach, Irvine, Orange, Santa, even LA and Long Beach. The ASG will pay the city back many times over for that cost of nationwide-exposure on New Year’s Day.

I don’t live in Anaheim, and I do live here in SoCal, but I do not begrudge their efforts to maximize their revenue for this event.

We could all go the next day to the show of the floats along Sierra Madre Blvd.

and have your picture taken in front of the float then post them on Halos Heaven. It is more fun than you would think to go to the viewing of the floats. I have gone the last two years, and to see the floats up close is pretty amazing.

+1

It is neat to see them up close… I went this year for the first time and it was awesome.

I love this team.

After the showing in Victory Park

they drive the floats back to the start of the parade along Orange Grove Blvd., 100 feet from our house. It’s like getting our own personal Rose Parade, minus the bands and equestrian units.

Never did the Rose parade --

LAUSD only lets the “All-City” (or as we called it, the All-**itty) band perform. No LAUSD high school is allowed to send its own band to the Tournament of Roses.

On the other hand, we did the Santa Claus Lane Parade (back when it was still called the Santa Claus Lane Parade).

Nothing that glamorous.

More like, I was in the gutter. New Year’s Day. Pasadena. Went there the night before to party and see the parade in person. Partied. A lot. Woke up in a gutter. With the parade going on. Not the best place to be once the 3rd or 4th equestrian unit has passed by.

Did that a long time ago...

Late ’70s, early ’80s.

That was when I did it. Probably around 1979.

Well, here's hoping

…that any players we have in the game actually get to play. Give the home crowd a thrill. At least Joe Maddon won’t be the manager.
