PrintGranderson would be a great addition to any team that has lacked consistency against right handed pitching. Five tool player? Check. Posesses the intangibles? Check. We would get this guy for 3 years and for under ten million for each of these years. Yes we would be giving up some of the capital within our farm system but we will need someone to replace figgins in order to preserve mike socialism's coaching steez (steez = style for you non-hip folks). I have not been to the Louvre since 1983, but I remember that Mona Lisa smile! At the Louvre (and other European museums) there was a bar. After walking through all of the exhibits sober I popped into the bar for three beers and went back to see my favorite paintings with a different perspective. I saw some Grand Masters, but I did not see any Grandersons!

All ballplayers have weakspots.
All i am saying is that from a marketing and team progression standpoint this guy brings lots to the table. Considering Vladdy and Figgins will be lost to the bidding wars, which equates to a loss of pop and speed in our lineup and Granderson brings both.

I was ready to fish out some stats to show that Granderson wasn't so bad against lefties, necessarily
you know…find some reason for hope or whatever.
But I went to his B-R page, and all I can say is GOOD LORD. This guy is fucking epically bad against lefties. Like, fucking ATROCIOUS. My lord. A .400-something OPS? Really? Fuck me with a pogo stick, he’s awful.

Like so bad, righties should switch gloves and throw left-handed against him whenever he comes to the plate. Hell, I could pinch hit for him against lefties and do better.
