Every year, the Angels farm system loses a few players in the Rule V. Exceptional depth makes for a quality organization.

That's probably true of nearly everybody on that list
This is one of the weakest Rule 5 drafts I’ve ever seen.

If you draft, you have to put them on the 25-man for a year.

I believe the last Rule 5 Player that remained on the Angel’s Roster for an entire season was pitcher Derrick Turnbow, in 2000, drafted from the Phils.
He had two good seasons with the Brewers…….2005, 39 saves and 2006, 24 saves.
