idk i think this was a horrible deal i mean i just dont see this going well at least not with how we play it in the past,
this means we will not be able to rotate the DH much at all like is what mike likes to do. also i just dont have confidence in matsui id rather have picked up troy glaus

Why not Bay?
Matsui? What the hell? If we just lost out on Lackey AND Halladay, why the hell aren’t we spending the money on Bay? I’m pissed. And we’re going to drop Vlad on his ass for Matsui? I’m pissed.
No matter what happens from here on, it has been a great season.
We never had halladay.
We get used and abused to drive up their asking price. Reagins is small time and isn’t ready to play ball with the big boys.
FTW and lets have brandon wood win it for us in 2010. I’m all for making this mess look like it was all an ingenious plan.

Reagins brought us Torii, traded for Teix, had the balls to give Kendry a chance, traded for Kazmir, scrounged up Matt Palmer, stole Abreu etc etc etc
The two MOST SUCCESSFUL SEASONS IN ANGEL HISTORY have happened under his watch.

I understand the money thing with Japanese interests and all, but damn I’m gonna miss Big Daddy. At this point I just hope Reagins and the FO just stop. We can just deal with what we have and try to get FAs next year. Enjoy the draft picks. I don’t want any used up guys like Lowe. I’d rather see SOS and Palmer full-time in the rotation. Whatever that may bring.

Solid pickup at a very reasonable price
Career OPS+ of 124; knows how to take a walk; lefthanded power hitter. A .567 SLG away from Yankee Stadium. .553 career SLG at the Big A. OK with being a DH. Japanese.

Not to thrilled about the ageing OF pickup, but we’ll see what the lineup looks like. Hopefully its an Abreu repeat. I hope they don’t replace Rory with a Japanese to English translator.
