LOL........
love the last frame.
Yeah, I just stare at my desk, but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch too, I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work. - Peter Gibbons

that's hilarious :)
"When people talk about Super Bowl dynasties they mention the 1970's Steelers, 1980's 49ers, 1990's Cowboys and the current New England Patriots, but nobody has dominated the Super Bowl like Anheuser-Busch. In recent years, Budweiser has been the MVP of Super Bowl advertising -- making another company the favorite to win the Ad Meter poll was never an option."

The last frame is classic
Great stuff. I have to say, even when he was on our team, Lackey was one of my least favorites. His crybaby pointing fingers routine fits in perfectly with his new team.
To be honest, I never thought for a moment that he would be back
Thus why when I first heard he had signed elsewhere it made hardly a blip on my radar. The vibe I had felt all season was that he felt dissed that the Angels didn’t fall down on their knees and fellate him before this past season and beg him to sign a CC-type extension to keep him from testing the free agent waters. After that, I’ve just sensed a slow burn on his part of “wait’ll I sign elsewhere after this season… then you’ll all be sorry!”
For Lackey, it was more than just greed. He was determined to give the Angels one final monsterous middle finger.
Although I don’t begrudge him for taking the highest offer, he is now a member of an enemy team, and thus I hope he crashes and burns and we give a sigh of relief that we weren’t the ones shelling out $85 million for 5 long years. It’ll be interesting to see if he can avoid the DL this year. The Red Sox fans may not be too patient if a player making his kind of money is out for a long stretch of the season.
By the way, I LOVE your comics, WiHaloFan.
I didn't think he'd be back either....
but I didn’t expect him to sell out to the dark side. Oh well, can’t wait to boo him like we do every other BoSox player. And beating Boston will be so sweet this year.
