"Top" 100 Players of the Decade

The "Top" 100 Players of the Decade

Rob Neyer from ESPN compiled a list of the "Top" 100 Players from this decade.... After looking through this list, I've now realized Rob Neyer is one of the worst journalists covering sports today.  He fails to include Justin Morneau (MVP Award Winner), our once beloved Francisco Rodriguez (All-Time Saves Holder), Ryan Howard, John Smoltz, or even Garrett Anderson.  Yet he does include, Ray Durham, Brian Giles, Brad Radke, Cory Koskie?  Definitely a stretch Rob Neyer.

After reading that, it made me think of the Top 10 Angels from this decade.... Thoughts? And enjoy laughing at Mr. Neyer's knowledge.

This Decade?

I would say, John Lackey, Chone Figgins, K-Rod, Vladimir Guerrero, Troy Glaus, Tim Salmon (just because), Erstad, Scot Shields, Jose Molina (tentative), G.A

It’s hard not to include most of the players on the 2002 World Series Team.

Wishlist: Lackey AND Halladay. Somehow.

Hmmm

As much as I am not a Nader fan I wouldn’t include Smotlz on the list as his 22 save avg per season this decade is nothing to hang a hat on.

On the other hand he has 1 just 1 relief pitcher listed. Goes to show how much he values a Closer. I would think T. Hoffman would be on this list though
