If more of these rappers/R&B singers started sporting Angels hats maybe it would start a trend that would boost sales so we could afford the big contract...

I wouldn't mind seeing that
But all that’s going to boost is hat sales.
For example, I’m looking over right now at my co-worker Eric. He’s a rapping, hip-hopping goof who, going with the trend, wears trendy baseball caps. And like the hip stars he and all the other trendy kids are emulating, he doesn’t give a hoot about baseball. On any given day he may be wearing a Yankees, Dodgers or Nationals hat. But finds baseball boring. He’s all about basketball and football, though like many other incomprehensible people in my office, his loyalties seem to shift throughout the season to whoever is doing best.
Bottom line: your average trend-follower or hip-hop star can’t tell you what a ground rule double is.
Still, I like seeing the colors flown, even if it’s by an unbeliever. So good on ’ya, Ray J or whoever you are.

They want power. We want respect...
I've seen alot of Angel hats
in the background of rap videos before this. Maybe the Angels are “cool” in the hood.
Not to mention on TMZ...
44FAN, are you the guy on TMZ with the Angels cap?
