how much
does Bobby just love baseball? you can just hear it in his voice when he talks about the game. he’d make a great hitting coach someday if he decides to go that direction. i love that about him, and it’s just so good to have guys like that around.
Maybe a coach with the Angels?

God willing
Not to mention he’s bilingual. That would be a huge plus for a coach.
I miss Hudler already.

He is a good influence on other hitters
Last year with the Angels it wasn’t only his bat that had value, but I think his patient approach at the plate and preparation rubbed off on the rest of the Angels offense and we saw other Angel hitters who the year before were more of free swingers learn to force a pitcher to throw strikes, one of the reasons the offense was so improved. So, yes, I think his whole approach to hitting would make him a great coach.

I love Bobby's accent and how he can ramble on about anything once you get him going.

I cannot make up my mind until I know what Mel From Fullerton thought.
Had I owned the Pittsburgh Pirates, I could have saved America.

The other day he talked for like 20 minutes. He was talking about AM 830 batting order. He had Mel from Fullerton batting third.
I miss Hudler already.

ROFL, yeah Dick was 2nd in the lineup.
I like how that dude is old school. Dick was (as the kids would say now a days) on beast mode.

Thanks for the interview
Really enjoyed the interview after hearing that and reflecting on the Matsui signing I think #55 will fit in nicely since he doesn’t GIDP often and is clutch with RISP
