PrintOther than possibly getting a Matt-Capps style reliever, I think the Angels are done for the offseason.
Opening Day is April 5, 2010 in Anaheim against the Twins... 105 Days away... Can you predict the Angels Opening Day starters?
If you come closest to predicting these results, you will win more than bragging rights... Predicting the Opening Day batting order and position players for the the Angels will get you two tickets (donated to HH by a member of our community) for the final Sunday Game of the season (9/26/10 Vs. the White Sox). Seats will be nosebleeders... but what the heck...
1. Name the Angels Batting Order for Opening Day. 1 point for each correct name in the exact numbered batting slot of the order.
2. Name the Angels Positional Starters for the game. 1 point for each correct name of the guys who take the field and see the first pitch of the 2010 season.
MUST POST YOUR GUESSES BY 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) December 31st, 2009.

Well....
Whatever respective fluids they produce, you can guarantee they both drink them out of a pimp cup. Crazy hip happers. I don’t think either of them suck ass, I think Napoli is the better option offensive wise.

I just think more stock will be given to the catcher who sucked less balls at the outset of the season.
Given Napoli has hit the ball less times than I have digits on my hands, I’d go with the coaches taking a strong look at the guy who hit under playoff pressure.

thats understandable but aybars is decent, has become a great oppisite way batter, and has better speed to lead off. also
it gives abreu more of a chance to drive in runs and get another guy on base for the middle of the order
