Turned it on for the last two outs.
My wife asked me why I would even bother watching since it was almost over. I told her she wouldn’t understand.
Nick would be proud.
It pisses me off that this game isn't offered on i-tunes
I still haven’t seen it all the way through. The highlight reel a hundred times, of course, but I haven’t yet put my hands on the full game.
It was the only contest of that whole postseason that I didn’t watch in real time. I had a dinner meeting I just couldn’t get out of, so ended up “hitting the head” (running down to the bar to watch) about 15 times over two hours. Was lucky enough to catch Spezio’s homerun, but missed the eighth inning fireworks. I’m still bitter.
Watching this game, I noticed something..
Even though the Halos were down 4-0 and 5-0, the place never stopped rocking.
The only other times I saw this were during the 2009 playoffs. In the ’07 and ’08 playoffs, when the Halos were down, the stadium was dead (except for those [CENSORED] RSN types).
In ’09, even when we were behind 3-0 in game 3 of the ALCS, the stadium kept going.

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll never forget that game. I was at my favorite ribs joint with my whole family. Best memory #3 behind my wedding and my daughter’s birth. I haven’t gotten to see it all the way through again until now.
No matter what happens from here on, it has been a great season.
That's Eastern time folks.
It’s 11:30 out west. FYI.
Thanks for the heads up – DVR set.
I saw that game live and was all but packing it in. Then Boom (Spiezio) and Boom (Erstad) and I was just stunned.
Awesome game.
RIP Nick...

And even you cheered for Ersty that day.
See Jim, he’s not all that bad.
Nick would be proud.

I tried to leave
was at game 6 wanted to leave during the 7th inning stretch knowing the Halo histroy of hart brake and the fact that there were so many Giant fans all high fiving and stuff that I knew I would be sick if the clinched in our house but my best friend said just wait till the end of the inning and if you still want to leave then fine we will go but after the 7th there was no way I was leaving greatest comeback in world series history
I have lived long enough to see all three of the Pro teams I suport win a championship everything else is iceing on my cake
Would you say it's the best comeback PERIOD?
Did you feel like you wanted to RUN ON the field?
We are the Los Angeles Angels of the late 2000s
That best friend should have been awarded the MVP trophy.
