July 4th...

explosions. loud ones.

I love this team.

I'm with this.

Too much positive influence (Figgins, Griff). And in a quiet city that lets sleeping dogs lie, he won’t get up in arms against the press. He’ll find personal mirrored sanctuary in Ichiro, who will teach him to meditate or something.

I saw posts just like these...

by other HH users just prior to Milton’s move to Chicago; insisting he was not going to melt down based on the Padres players testimonies. Maybe the lack of interest in the Mariners by the greater Seattle populace will make his behavior less newsworthy as in high-expectation Chicago?

I tend to think that there will be some behavioral problem in Seattle with Bradley in the middle of it.

I love this team.

He's on his last chance

One more explosion and NO team is going to sign him. He better not but I think he’ll have some issues.

Vince Gill song...

“One More Last Chance”

Might be a theme for Milton.

I love this team.

After the break

How many points do we win for guessing correctly?

I predict this will piss off a few Kurt Cobain-y M’s fans.

After the break, when the race enters S*** or Get off the Pot Time

If the Mariners and/or Rangers and/or Angels are all neck and neck he will have to face pressure from his team, fans, press and himself. With all the moves the Mariners are making this off-season, they are going into ’10 with very high expectations. They will be at their highest in the last 3rd of the season. This is when it possibly and probably will happen.

One bad performance in a big game by him, one ball thrown into the stands with two outs, one ground ball that he doesn’t run out, something like this will be the catalyst. Even the Seattle press will ask questions. A teammate like Figgins and a manager like Wakamatsu who came from a place of success will say something and this will set him off.

So my guess is August/September timeframe, much like with the Cubs last year. He’s already proven this a dozen times. You can pretty much set your watch to it.

I don't think he will.

If he does, I’ll guess August 19

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

The Chicago Cubs come to Seattle, and Bradley can’t contain himself during a presser with the Chicago media and implodes.

by mustard_man on Dec 23, 2009 5:38 PM PST reply actions

Cubs fan here.

I voted for “during spring training”, because remember, the M’s train in Arizona, and those nasty Chicago sportswriters will be out there, just ready to pounce on Milton.

The Cubs play the M’s on March 28.
