Disappointing that

very few of the players listed above are under contract with the Angels right now.

Captain, there are doubt's...

Yeah, we could really use

Don Baylor, Chilli Davis, Bobby Bonds, Dan Ford, Bobby Grich, Jose Guillen, Reggie Jackson, JT Snow, Lee Thomas, Leon Wagner, Wally Joyner, Tim Salmon, and Mo Vaughn right about now. The whole field would smell like Ben Gay and Vapo-Rub.

so many seasons

with time off for the aches and pains…

And a lot of seasons without a lot of guys getting on-base in front of him...

Salmon was the bees knees as a hitter. Wonderful player that did have the injury bug towards the end, but also was hampered with some crumby teams in the late 1990’s. His 1995 was just stunning. I thought he was going to be a HOF candidate after that year. He looked unstoppable at times.

That 1995 team was fun to watch and listen to in the summer months. They just hit the shit out of the ball all summer long.

Memories….

RIP Nick...

If GA weren't so lazy...

he would have hit as well as Salmon

Very interesting post

Only six guys with multiple seasons. I think Baylor had 99 one season. But, you’d think there would have been more over all the years.

OK, I'm finally over losing Tex. Thanks Kendry.

Funny too, this is… Vlad played in Montreal and never had a 100 rbi teammate,OC came close one year with 96 I think….

Two times it happens in LA- Guillen and Abreu/Morales..

So it seems teams with Vlad G didn’t really have a huge secondary bat behind him…
For me makes all his 100- rbi seasons in Montreal much more impressive..

In LA he had better players around who got on base more for him and gave him more chances,so really is amazing that he had those years in Montreal…He was a beast in Montreal.

If Torii didn't get injured halfway into the season

He would’ve easily hit 100 as well.

Juan Rivera might’ve been able to as well. He was 12 RBIs away with approx 14 games left.

Angels 2010: We need a starting pitcher, not a kneeless hitter!
