Kelvim Escobar Joins the New York Mets

This article states that our beloved MySpaceCobar is now a Met. I, for one, will miss him. When he was healthy, he was almost as studly as his MySpace page would have you believe. Unfortunately, he was fragile and taking up muy dinero of the salary available. Will he be a starter or reliever for the lowly Mets? Probably a reliever. What do you all think about this? Talented guy, no doubt. [And here are the last remaining words so I can make the 75 minimum.]

Hmm.

I thought that the rules were that these short postings went under FanPosts and not FanShots. Or am I mistaken?

I read that the Mets view him as a reliever and that he could possibly setup his former Angel and now Met teammate, F-Rod

High risk/ high reward there. The way he pitched the one outing this year…he’s still got it, but he may only make one appearance and end up down for the year again. I hope not..he’s a good pitcher.
