Nick Green claimed off of waivers
According to the OCR, Nick Green (the pitcher placed on waivers to make room for Abreu) was claimed by the Brewers.
Good luck, Nick.

I'm confused
Do the Angels and Brewers now need to work out a deal? What’s the difference between getting waived and released?
I was uncool before uncool was cool.
Assume that ONLY the Brewers have claimed him.
The choices confronting the Angels are:
- take him back off the waiver wire, cancelling any deal with the Brewers, or
- set up a trade with the Brewers, or
- do nada, nothing, zippo.
If the Halos opt for this last option, then the Brewers take over Nick’s current contract, they pay the Halos a waiver fee, and they park Green on their active roster.
So what's the incentive
For the Brewers to accept the second option? Or is it completely in the Halos’ control?
