Chance all the way
First Cy Young for the franchise, fantastic pitcher, franchise guy—well he preceded me by 18-some-odd-years (only that many?) so I don’t know much beyond that—but of those listed above, he definitely seems to fit the category of “great” quite well. DeCinces and AK after that, probably—but given his reputation in his last years here, I don’t see Edmonds anywhere near the top of this list.

In my Dean timeline Dino of the Flintstones comes first, Dean Chance is second, and Dean Martin is third. That is the order of how they appeared in my life. That said, my wife and I are going to see “The Rat Pack: Life from the Sands” at the Orange County Performing Arts Center on Friday April 17th. I will take The Rat Pack (Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., and Frank Sinatra) over a Rockies @ Dodgers game.
I saw the last game Dean Chance ever pitched as an Angel: a two-hit shutout against Cleveland the last weekend of the 1966 season.

Look it up: FRED LYNN was the MVP of the 1982 ALCS even though the Angels lost that series 3 games to 2.

got my vote. With all due respect to Chance, i have to narrow my vote to the guys i ve actually seen play in a Halo uni with my own eyes. Edmonds was magic roaming CF!

You make no sense
Let me spell it out for you:
You stated you will only vote as “Great” those players you have seen play in person.
The only players in the poll you actually saw in person were Jim Edmonds and Adam Kennedy. Fine. Your voting method doesn’t allow you to vote for Chance or DeCinces because you didn’t see them.
By your logic, you cannot personally vote as great any player you did not see in person.
Therefore, again by your own logic, if Jim Fregosi, Brian Downing, Nolan Ryan, Bo Belinsky, or Bobby Grich were in the poll, you could not vote for them because you apparently didn’t see them in person. I assume this because they were in same era as or earlier than DeCinces and Chance, who you state you did not see.
Is that clear enough for you?

The only time “great” is referenced, is in every one of your posts Clutch. The poll simply asks which of the four (not the 8) are the best out of the four!
Honestly, most of what i know of Dean Chance is what i research and the info a website tells me… just like you Clutch! Dean Chance also preceded me “by 18-some-odd-years” as you said in the 2nd post of this blog… SO… The errection, or natural extension, of my argument is based on my emotions!!! Contrary to your 2nd post; to me Edomonds was mutha F**kin MAGIC in CF BABY!!!!!! My memories of him, regardless of how he ended his stay here, are why i voted for him instead of a name on a stat sheet like yourself.
Anyway Clutch, get over your natural extension for me and lets just agree to be halos fans brotha! Dont twist it! And accept my Adrian Gonzalaz trade dammit!!!!!
