What's Up With Garret Anderson?
Any news on Garret Anderson? His player profile at BOTH ESPN and at Yahoo (linked) have nothing in them. No news may be bad news for our beloved G-A.

But not in October...
…which is what really matters.
I wish him the best. But the thought of him in kelly green and gold…brrrrrrrrrr……
I don't know...I'm makin' this up as I go.
Why?
Both teams realize he’s not a good fielder and both teams seem to have DH locked up.

MLBTradeRumors
Has mentioned a couple of times that Seattle is considering Anderson to be a viable option but hasn’t made any moves yet.
Not necessarily a credible report, but a report nonetheless.
Light Up That Halo!
oops
He’ll be lucky to get more than 2M in this market.
I wish him well and hope he lands in a good situation somewhere.
Money doesn't matter
I don’t think money matters to GA otherwise the angels probably would of signed him. He is more concerned about playing everyday which the angels did not offer him.
legen... wait for it... dary
I also heard the twins
are in on him. Which would be cool for him.
Give the young guns a chance...if they suck wellll...
i'd dance the jig if that happened
but their outfield situation is worse than ours.
delmon young, michael cuddyer, jason kubel, denard span, carlos gomez.
they don’t need a garret anderson.
True
but they also are rumored to want to trade Delmon Young. It could open up a spot. But I hope he just signs some where.

oops, I meant “IT IS G.A. and Bobby Abreu…”
Maybe there would be some news about him
if he weren’t so lazy

well at least he cant be mad at us for buying him out
clearly we had a better guage on his value than he did
Linked at right sidebar due to Tag, but link provided here for better visibility
After reading that, my opinion has shifted such that I now think we should only offer GA a minor league contract and let him play his way onto the roster in spring.
i think this is rather telling...
but it is also trying to say that gmj is better than ga. and i refuse to buy that.
3 names stand out to me on that list...
Rios, Markakis, and DeJesus…hmmm
Kotch and Marek for two draft picks...hmmm, what a deal! NOT!
Notice where Manny is on that list
Maybe we should be pursuing David DeJesus.

What Are the Chances of GA coming back?
Two months ago I would have said no way. But if no one is biting then would GA settle for part-time as a Halo?
If he did come back and was killing it off the bench I am sure that Soc would give him the chance to earn his spot back.
Wouldn’t that be a big FU to the FO and every team that failed to pick him up.
I think he’s going to the A’s though.

I think he'll be playing on Kenny Lofton's softball team
Which is sad because he’s one of my all-time favorite Angels.
I was uncool before uncool was cool.
