Our lineup, looks pretty close to 'A' team
only missing Abreu and Vladdy
3B Figgins
2B Kendrick
RF Matthews
CF Hunter
1B Morales
LF Rivera
DH Napoli
C Wilson
SS Aybar
I agree on both counts
I hope they figure out how to get Wood in the lineup on a regular basis.
Bot of 1st
Dustin allows a walk and a hit but gets out of it
Angels should rotate Figgins
One day at 3rd then SS, 2b and outfield
This would allow Wood to play atleast 5 games a week
And give some of the regulars some rest
Yeah i saw that earlier
I mean Figgy wouldnt really be a big downgrade on defense by switching him on those positions
I havent seen him play shortstop in a really really long time
Figgy is a good defender...
but in his seasons where he shuffled from one spot to the next, he really struggled and made errors. He kind of has an incorrectly placed label of “bad defender,” but if you look at the errors made, they were usually made right after being shifted from 3rd to center from one game to the next. Kind of like trying to play a position without preparing … not too easy in the bigs.

Gameday says Aybar hit the HR
and Gameday is always fast and never wrong…
no doubt in my mind.
Gameday is always slow and typically wrong
GMJ must be good and healthy now.

Where do I sign up for the GMJ fan club?
or have I accidently nominated myself to lead it since I am likely the charter member?

Izturis in for Figgins at 3B
Figgy 1-for-3 with that 2-run jack. Strange that Izzy is getting some reps at the hot corner.
Izzzy at 3b Wood at SS yesterday
still it’s not an option to but wood at ss during the season. sure mike, we are on to you.

Going to top of 7th, still 3-0.
Huddy and Terry are talking with Mr. Moreno, so the play-by-play is suffering.
Not a lot of action to report since GMJ’s HR.
and thus the gameday got stuck too...

He better start hitting the way HGH is hitting
I know, I know, small sample size, etc.
Alex Rodriguez needs to hire an advisor
When the hell was he thinking when he did that photo with the mirror???
Ain't no stoppin' us now. We got the groove!!
That was out of left field. Were they talking about it on the Angels broadcast or something?

I saw the photo at the Yankee blog
At first I thought it was a fake. But no. It really is ARod and he willingly posed like that for an article in Details magazine.

Meet George Jepsen...
he has pitched 6th and 7th scoreless with 1H, 0BB, and 1K. Not too shabby.

Yikes, HK 0-4. Not the best day for our hitters...
Plugging the upside since 2006.
Never give up, never surrender!
Floyd always seems to give the Angels fits.
Just seems to have the Angels number. He’s a guy with good stuff that gets in trouble at times when teams are selective, the Angels have never been super selective.
Also if 4 runs is a bad day then count me in, because the Angels will run away with the West again.
Any word on velocity?
I hope Speier can bounce back otherwise he could be the new Esteban Yan.

brown playing 1b
looks like he completely fell off of the 3b depth cart. if he wants to break into the bigs his going to have to do it there.
which looks less likely than Rivera Flopping

Yeah, Rivera is making me wonder if Matthews might really be the better choice at DH between the two.
He seems to want it more at the very least.
