Even having seen Finley a lot more than Ryan … I thought it would have been a lot further since it sounded like Ryan was just sick with the velocity, K’s, shutouts and no-no’s.

Sentimentally...
I wanted to pick Fin as I got to see basically his whole career with the team and he’s more of a “true” Angel in my mind. But you can’t argue with what Ryan did on the mound, the 4 no-no’s for the Halos, and his overall impact on this franchise. If there were different (smarter) decisions made in the past, he’d likely be our first and only hat in the Hall…
I saw Ryan pitch
probaly 50+ games at angel stadium when he was with us. No one… no one was as dominate as this guy at least that I ever saw.
25th pick - Clay Mathews LB USC
44th pick - Alphonso Smith cb Wake Forest
56th pick - Clint Sintim LB Virginia
86th pick - Fili Moala DT USC
Ryan was the first guy
who put butts in the seats. No offense to Fregosi.
And also, #30 is up on the wall above right field.
