HGH Jr. leaves camp after meeting with the Soth
http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/sports_blog/2009/03/angels-matthews.html
So, how do you think this went? Here's how I see it:
HGH: "Hey Soth can I play moar plz?"
Soth: "HGH you are my home dawg and whatnot but sry, u suxxorz LoL!"
HGH: " I wanna go home now. You hurt my feelings =( ."
Soth: "OK dawg, laterz."
Reporters: "Soz HGH howz it goin? So are they shipping your ass out?"
HGH: "LEAVE BRITTNEY....I MEAN ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111"
Alright, in all seriousness now, do you think there is any possibility that Matthews gets traded? If so, where? Do you think that maybe we can do something like the Dodgers did with Andruw Jones and restructure his contract, making him more tradeable? The White Sox and Yankees are the obvious fits. Maybe the Orioles could play him in left or put him in center and shift Adam Jones to left. They seem committed to Felix Pie but I have to believe they would want to upgrade LF if given the opportunity. Hell, maybe the Braves would be interested. He could reunite with his old BFF's GA and Kotch and right now their center fielder is Gregor Blanco, who has no power at all. HGH could play good defense and he has good speed and can hit 15 homers to 20 homers if healthy. I'm just spitballin' here.
Your thoughts?

i already posted a fanshot
but nobody looks at those, so we’re good. lol.
i don’t think the braves would want him, cause most likely that schafer guy is going to be their starting CF, and he’s supposed to be pretty legit.
however, i think we really should try to restructure so that we have an easier time moving him. maybe we can get a starter somewhere for HGH + one of our young MI?
"Here we go baby, 'bout f***'n' time!"
I can't believe I forgot about that Schafer guy.
HGH + Izzy for Phil Hughes.
Pipe dream, I know. It couldn’t hurt to ask, right? Izzy could fill in at 3B temporarily for A-Fraud. He’s probably better than Cody Ransom.

Those are the breaks Gary.
You cash in a get a contract you didn’t deserve and now you lose playing time to better players. Thats just the way things work. Have a positive attitude, it’s a long season, anything can happen.

From your keyboard to HGH's ears
You got right to the heart of the situation. Rec’d.
". . .and the young lions will lock horns!" -- Ron Fairly, from an Angels telecast
The irony is...
…GMJ, after his knee was cleaned out, may finally be the player the Angels thought they had signed before the 2007 season—but since he was playing hurt and underperformed in 2007 and 2008, the team has made other plans accordingly.
If I was getting paid $50M to sit on my ass
I’d be pretty pissed too!!
This guy is a fucking tool. Time to take a step back, look at the world crumbling around you and shut the hell up.
I wouldn't.
I sit on my ass and don’t get paid jack shit. I’d gladly take 50 million for it.

Well, while he hasn't exactly EARNED the playing time
I do find it funny that you ridicule the guy for not being happy about this situation. What’s to mock about a guy who wants to prove his worth, and actually try to earn his keep? Whether or not he’s good enough to justify playing time is irrelevant…the man is NOT content with not having a chance to prove he’s worthy of the money he’s getting. Sure he sucks, but that trait itself is commendable more than laughable.

GMJ -- the Rick Astley of baseball.
One hit wonder extraordinaire. That catch at Arlington a few years back was apparently worth 5 at 50. PT Barnum said it the best about Bill Stoneman.
Thank Jebus
don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out, Gar.
