I hope they hang in there until after July 31
Unable to trade anyone because they are close, they fall apart in August and are left with no new trade prospects and no harvest of draft picks.

Day-am. The A’s are really pushing this year. Here’s hoping that they’ll provide a nice challenge this season in order to help the Halos’ young guys deal with pressure and thus a sort of tune-up/tutorial for better performance in the playoffs. Here’s also hoping that the A’s do what they do best and Choak by August.

I know I should be concerned...
But it just seems this Oakland franchise is trying to hard.
Too many questions about the pitching staff… the health of Giambi, Garciapara, and Chavez… etc.
I think however that the youth of Oakland is going to benefit from that clubhouse with OC, Giambi, and Garciapara.
