New Ace Same Result in Choakland
If the A's specialize in anything, it certainly is not OBP, it is injury riddled aces. Same story different name here. Justin Duchscherer is scheduled to have his sore right elbow examined by a doctor today. Not very good news for a very inexperienced rotation that is looking to make good on the one year rentals of Holliday, Giambi, Orlando Cabrera and Nomar.
This is like their own special little version of groundhog day. Pitchers and catchers report. Their ace gets injured.

Only guy who has pitched a year in the show...
and here I am bitching about getting a solid fifth starter.
Me too. I have been bitching about Moseley all offseason.
Perspective. Thanks.
Play Wood already. Willits sucks.
If Moseley doesn't have success...
..then maybe Adenhart…or Loux…or Jepsen…Ortega…or Walden.
Damn…that might actually make a decent starting 5. In fact, this starting 5 would probably be better than Oakland’s starting 5…maybe better than Texas or Seattle.
… or Escobar…?

Indeed it is
Maybe we can take pity on Choakland in August and send them one of the excess pitchers.

A post of bad karma.

Angel starter Ervin Santana is having elbow trouble too and it doesn’t look good.
