Alternate Uniforms on Uniwatch

For those of you who don't read Uniwatch, it's time to start. This article includes a redesign of several major league uniforms, including the Angels'. Our redesign uses USC colors, and while I detest U$C, I really like these unis. The road grays with the gold lettering look great.

Good stuff.

I tend to be more of a traditionalist when it comes to uniforms, so I wasn’t too thrilled about changing our colors – but I must say that they still looked decent. Some other good suggestions were made as well. None of them stuck out as “terrible” to me, which surprised me a little. I think they could have done better coming up with new Miami Marlins jerseys though.

yeah, i don't think i like the idea of looking like USC

but the Marlins re-design was really cool

This redesign would go over huge

…in Newport Beach. Beyond that, I don’t think the region would go crazy for it.

Honestly, I think the simplicity of the red, navy and silver on white or gray gets the job done for me. No pinstripes, no periwinkle, no complicated, Disneyfied logos.

I go to a private school on the East Coast that plays in the CAA and is therefore completely unrelated to $C athletics, whose biggest sport is ice hockey.

Just because I can see that U$C cheats and has an awful graduation rate doesn’t make me jealous.
