~Till the Halo burns out...

by Zu Long on Apr 1, 2009 2:28 PM PDT up reply actions

Young leads the league in Flyball ratio

probaly not a good fir in Texas. Danks learned his cutter from Buehrle, so you would probably got the same bad season he gave the CHW in 2007, and McCarthy was considred the better prospect at the time.

I really do think Texas is cursed, just because how a disproportionate amount of guys pan out elsewhere.

Well the Gonzo trade was awful but that was like 4 years ago and Galarraga was DFA’d so it has really a “trade” and Galarraga isn’t very good. he was the luckest pitcher in the game last year and there’s no way he going to repeat that performance.

Well

The Danks trade has very bad but B-mac still has a chance to be a #3, Young is a helped so much by Petco because of his flyball tendencies and would get shelled if he was still here and Hamilton is great plus, Volquez needed a change of scenery badly (he’s a headcase).

Bourjos gave it a ride, but not enough.
