Let's Do This for Nick!
After the tragic loss of Nick Adenhart, my face is covered with tears. He was a great talent, and didn't give up after having a so-so season last year. He will always be remembered in the hearts of every baseball fan. As Torii said, Nick will still a kid, and he had a great career ahead of him.
Being a great person, Nick would probably want us to finish the season and win the World Series. No problem can bring us down in moments like these. Once a door closes, another one opens. Maybe in the most obscure way God is trying to tell us another opportunity for happiness is available. My heart goes out for Jim and Janet, his parents.
After you read this post, I want you to remember one thing: in times of desperation, make an extra push for Nick. Do that garbage in honor of him, work with more dedication, or play catch with your son instead of sleeping.Nick always sacrificed himself to help others. What I'm trying to say is life is too short. Make the extra burst every day because you know Nick is looking down on us from heaven.
I'm dedicating 2009 to Nicholas James Adenhart!

Cool post...
just the other night, I was telling my son to “get to bed.” Well, instead of sleeping, we ended up having a jam session on Rock Band for like 3 hours! It was great bonding time. In wake of this tragedy, I also urge everyone to consider spending more time with family and good friends.
See you at the park tonight, fellow Halo fans!
RIP Nick Adenhart - Angel fans will never forget you!
I won't be at the game tonight
but I will be watching the whole thing on tv. I will have a heavy heart the entire game and hope the Angels can pull it out. If not that is ok, this game is not about winning or losing it is about moving on but never forgetting. For all of these guys including myself and I am sure a lot of you fellow HHers too, baseball is the way out and the way to smile again. Lets go Angels play it for Nick, and lets get through this together.
R.I.P. Nick Adenhart you will forever be missed...
What a shock
Nicky Boy definitely was a hard worker, a great guy, and a great pitcher. I send my condolences to Anaheim.
We are all Angels fans today.
