Remembering The Best Friend I Ever Had (Henry Pearson)
This is a tribute Henry Pearson, the law student who died in the crash with Nick Adenhart. I'm sure none of us have forgotten there were other people in the car, but it's nice to read such heartfelt words about one of them to remind there was more than one life cut far too short two nights ago. Found via Deadspin.

So hard
not to cry at work. R.I.P.
The time is out of joint; oh cursed spite, that ever I was born to set it right.

THANK YOU for this
I know the others are overlooked. Their lives were just as valuable and cherished.
RIP Nick

nice find
I’m glad to know more about one of the other lives lost… Every single one has family and friends that are now grieving.
I have nothing important to say.

About Henry
He was not the Fullerton Catcher…he is an Arizona State Alumnus. The Fullerton catcher is still battling for his life at UC-I medical center.
Henry was a great guy, great friend. I’ve been crying off and on for the 24 hours since his name was released. We had talked about going to opening day together at the big A Monday but he was headed up to LA to watch a high school kid play baseball in hopes of being his agent/advisor.
He is dressed in the catchers uniform for an annual 6 on 6 volleyball tournament in Manhattan beach.
He was a huge baseball fan and interned for the Montreal Expos back in 2003 or 2004.

theyre airing a press conference wit joe and dustin moseley right now on MLB network
say what you will about him as a pitcher, but dustin moseley is an amazing human being. I will root for him for the rest of the season based on what im seeing in this presser right now
RIP Nick Adenhart

Wow.
Thanks so much for sharing this. Though we had some connection to Nick, it’s important to find out more about the other precious lives lost in this tragedy.
So, so sad.
