Had I made it that far in my career,
I would have long since established a solid reputation for losing the bat in my swing and letting it fly all over the field. No gloves. No pine tar.
That the bat would tend to fly directly at the pitcher after he tried to bean me would be one of those statistical curiosities. In fact, I would bet that such a reputation would preclude too many shots at my head, and I could hide behind the “small sample size” argument for number of times my bat went at a pitchers head.
Seriously, what kind of name is Jacoby?

Who has an interesting theory.
When you’re gonna face a really good pitcher have two hitting coaches. Have one teach half the guys, and the other teach the other half. They should teach different ways to beat the ace.
The idea is to keep the entire lineup from being unable to hit. (It feels like nobody is able to hit a LOT for the Angels)

I'd say it was close at 2nd
I’d err on the side of safe, but on DVR replay, frame by frame, the glove is RIGHT there (on the reverse angle) when the base first is impacted, as evidenced by the base moving when his foot hits it. It was close enough to go either way.

Actually, really. Yeah.
The Feds shut down one supplier when they hit their manufacturing quota. That was teh #3 producer in the country. Then teh same Feds forced supplier #1 off the larket due to quality control issues, and #2 off the market for reasons I Forget. So the only company capable of making painkilling meds is the #3, that has to ramp back up. Thre are serious health problems going on right now, escpecially in places like Florida where there is a high concentraion of pain centers. And recently, this has started to threaten our military. The black market for oxycadone, the base, makes this med more valuable than diamonds.
Which really aren't all that valuable
so much as they are extremely common and well controlled by the diamond companies.

that even after going 0-4 today, KMo is still hitting over .300, and its not easy to have an 0-fer this early and still have that high of a batting avg. nobody is going to get a hit EVERY DAY.
