Unless, we make a move at the trade deadline to bring in a bat, and sign Pedro. My reasons.

1. Oakland upgrades team Improves in off season( Holiday, Cabrera, Giambi) and Texas offensively is a lot better then Halos. Halos in my eyes, did not make any upgrades.

2. We lose Texiera, and do not upgrade our offense from last year. Im sorry, not sold on Aberu ( age, and his weight concern me). If the Angels were so sold on him, why would they only sign him for a year? 

3. Closer- Frankie to Fuentas? Enough said. Every 9th inning with Fuentas will be an experience.

4. Starting pitching- Not as strong as last year, because of injuries. Loose Garland, who gave 200 innings, reliable and is a good number 4 or 5.

In Summary, we did not upgrade our offense this year, I say we took a step back.

Did not upgrade our closer, by the way, when you have a closer like frankie, you overpay. Two things in baseball hard to find, a closer and a lead off hitter. Strating pitching is average now with all the injuries. Shoot our most feared hitter is Mike Mapoli who does not play every day.

Finally, We sign two centerfielders in past two years who best years are gone. Hunters best years were in Minnesota in the twinkie dome. Matthews,well we know why, one good year with HDH and now we are stuck with a bad contract.

Any thoughts? Kendry, and Rivera must step up and be able to hit with runners in scoring position, AKA Macier.
