I apologize for posting this here..
I couldn’t believe this when I heard it though. A co-worker of mine, an Angel fan, said that part of the reason Beckett was suspended 6 games was because he made a comment at Abreu saying “Were going to bury you like your teammate.” I Google searched to see if I could find any articles with a quote along those lines but couldn’t find anything. I would imagine even Beckett wouldn’t be that big of a jackass but I guess it wouldn’t entirely surprise me. I was just curious if anyone here had heard about this. I would think there would be more out there about it if it were true.
Congrats on the series finale. Until the 7th of the second game either of the two games could have gone either way. Here’s to a season of great baseball!

BTW, did you guys notice the “FAN STRONG” logo at the top of the Angel’s website?
In place of the “O” in STRONG they have the Nick Adenhart patch. Pretty cool. That would make a great t-shirt if you ask me.

i think the Angels are being wise not to market anything related to the tragedy. I am sure the family will coordinate with the team how to best memorialize #34.

I guess what I meant is more like a tribute with the proceeds going to charity type of thing. Yeah, I’m totally against the crass idea of trying to market what this tragedy.
