We still have 4 healthy outfielders so Figgins doesn’t have to move to the outfield and Wood can just take Vlad’s spot as the every day DH so he can focus on putting up those big time power numbers.

Means "recommended"
I.e., somebody liked your post. Flagging should be a rarity, however.

Initially calling it a ‘strain’. Same old BS. First they say "day—to-day’, then it’s the 15 DL, next it will be surgery and he’ll be out for several months. I feared it yesterday

In May of 2005 Vlad went on the DL with a shoulder injury
He missed 18 games.
During that span, the Angels averaged 5.4 runs per game and went 10-8.

If they aren’t going to call up Wood of Sean-rod, at least putting Quinlan or Mattews in the starting lineup instead for Izturiz, I think.
I want to see Wood and Sean in major everyday, but it seems impossible without making a trade…

this is the PERFECT opportunity to give Wood a substantial amount of playing time
yeah, it sucks that Vlad went down, but this is exactly what Wood needs. give him the 6 weeks (give or take), let him play every day and see what happens.
