Angelswin.com Selling Bootleg Adenhart Shirts
It is pretty disgusting that some slimee websights are making a buck off the tragedy. Even MLB run by Bud Selig for crying out loud is holding off on selling jerseys related to Nick. wonder if Chuck will at least wear his unauthorized shirt next time he is at his mariners games.

Fooey
If it had been somebody here we wouldn’t hear the clucking of tongues.
At those prices it’s not like they’re making a ton, either.
People put their loved ones’ death notices on their car rear windows all the time (no matter how ridiculous and temporary that may be); I don’t see too much wrong with people wanting something like this to commemorate Nick’s death, especially considering how slow the organization has been to deal with this.
Witty .sig goes here.
If it was someone here, they would have been pummelled.
However, I don’t think the site running this sale is making profit on this sale. I paid $10 for crappy custom-made softball t-shirts. This looks nicer and is the same price.

But the point is its not on here
There is a reason that mcdonalds doesnt have columbine high school memorial happy meals – exploiting a tragedy even when profit is not a motif is damaging to your company image. These are shirts with lettering that looks like it is the angels promoted on a website where the owner of the company, Chuck richter pretends he is working with the angels management on every project and claims to be front office insider.
HARD EIGHT
...and is pals with Steve Physioc.
you have a good point.

Thanks, scareduck

Now, can a moderator please remove my name from this thread? Again, I’m not selling these t-shirts, nor are they sponsored by my website. Just a fan and member of Angelswin.com trying to do a good deed for the fans. He’s not making a penny off the t-shirts.
It's hard out there for a pimp ...
This dude Chuck is providing something of value in the marketplace. He’s pretty clearly in violation of MLB licensing rules, I would imagine, but other than that, I don’t have a problem with him selling this stuff. Now, if he were to donate a portion of the profits to MADD then I would be happier, but really, in the cosmic scheme of thing, this guy doesn’t even come close to Madoff territory.
Always about CHUCK
The reson the Angels are waiitng is becuase it’s not about them and it’s not about us it’s about the family. This shirt is a marker of a website where no matter the tragedy it’s always about them. Chuck Richter’s site is so used to pretending that they’re part of the Angels organization that it’s no problem to copy Angels lettering and promote the site. The link to the Orage County Register above has a discusion with a screen printer saying tshirts cost 4 dollars to print. Chucks shirts are 16 dollars with padded shipping
dont marry the bank teller
Sorry, I decided not to go there
"I see great things in baseball. It's our game, the American game. It will repair our losses and be a blessing to us."
So what is the issue?
Are you guys mad because the company making the shirts is going to make a profit, and that profit will not be shared with the Adenhart family?
Does this Chuck you speak of own the company making the tshirts?
Did Chuck design the shirts?
Did Chuck piss on your front door then shit on your couch?

Get your facts straight
I’m no legal expert, but I would advise someone to change the title of this…. since you don’t seem to be concerned with tact.
Chuck has nothing to do with the shirts. He’s not ordering one. He hasn’t even posted in that thread.
The person organizing it is just trying to do a nice thing for people… and isn’t making any money. I know the guy and am have no doubt his intentions are legit.
First and Last post on here.....
I was at church today and when I got home Chuck explained to me that some folks are making untrue accusations about the shirts so even though I feel no need to answer to a bunch of strangers I came to clear Chuck Richter’s name.
I am a fan of the team and was saddened by Nick’s death. I know that MLB does not allow the purchase of any Adenhart gear because he is technically retired. I only offered these shirts to my fellow message board posters at cost if they thought it was a fitting tribute to Nick. I was going to only make 5 or 6 for friends and family but the more Angel fans I know I told the more said they would like one as well. There are no copyrighted images, just a similar font to ours and a halo from the website I used to designs clipart gallery. As for the cost here is the exact total from the website…..
100 x $10.95 each = $1,095.00 total
FREE 2-week delivery to me, less than 5 dollars a piece for me to then ship to buyers
I have made these because I am a big and tall fan and IF the team makes any Adenhart tribute shirts they will not carry my size (6x). I heard that there was some comments put on here after Rex and Hud mentioned our board on TV and it seems that this hate might be stemming from that event.
I am shocked and appalled that people would think I would want to make money off of a tragedy such as Nick’s death. But Chuck didn’t even order a shirt so please quit assuming that Chuck or Angelswin is being unscrupulous or that I have any intention other than providing a few Angels fans with a reasonably priced shirt to pay tribute to a young talent at NO profit to myself or anyone associated with Angelswin
Thanks and God Bless
Also...
Is there any way to change the URL of this thread?
I'll wait for the MLB licensed Adenhart tribute shirts
That will be sold for $39.95 plus $10 s/h
Or if Halosheaven.com decides to print up Adenhart tribute shirts on their own – if its licensed by the Rev, then it must be all good.
I'm not a big fan of AngelsWin.com
but this was not their doing, just a member of the site, and that member’s intentions were good, just not entirely well thought out.
Just an FYI, the thread was already taken down from AngelsWin.com.
I have nothing important to say.
