I would think there is more to this story. I doubt the Angels did it purposely. Further, I doubt that Davidson will with the big club for much longer. This is a cup of coffee “to go” for the young fella as he is filling a need for bullpen relief. My, was his work Sunday much needed relief, too!

Had they given Rafael Rodriguez #57 instead of #59 they would've made a big statement...

When I saw him enter the game wearing #57, but I find it hard to believe that Arte walked into the clubhouse and said “Give the new guy Frankie’s old number. That’ll teach him to dis the LA of A.”.

I thought the same thing...

totally irrelevant. The writer of that article sounds like he’s just trying to stir something up. There’s enough drama on this year’s team to add fantasy garbage like this.
