…until you’ve been the bat boy for the 1988 Braves in San Diego. The announced attendance that night was under 8,000. In their worst days, the Angels have never drawn anywhere near that poorly. I almost started laughing until I realized I was in the Braves dugout, and they drew even worse at that time.

It all starts with winning games

If you want to look at that bigger picture for the series, sure.

Simple fact is the team needs to win the goddamn games that they are winning, and winning late. There’s no way to justify what happened tonight.

After tonight, it will be 6 of 9 losses in which we won or tied after the 6th inning. And until that’s corrected, you can forget about winning a series with regularity.

So I watched a show with my wife

and caught up with the DVR. Can someone explain why Adam #^&*(#@ Everett has 2 yes 2 flyball singles that have resulted in runs. The guy has absolutely no pop and our OF’s play everyone sooooo deep it’s absurd. That hit made me more mad than anything seeing how deep Abreu was when it was hit off the bat.

Aybar got 1 hit and his OPS this year is horrible. Wood could out hit him easy.

Soth gets the botg for his complete stubborness. This is the same guy that sent Joe Saunders down after he dominated one April so Fatty Colon could pitch. This is the same guy that sent Jered Weaver down when he was setting a rookie record for consecutive wins so his stupid washed up brother could pitch. That decision ended up costing the Angels a chance at the division that year. This year Soth can’t see the Angels need some pop, B Wood has served his time in the minors, he’s done what the Angels have asked, and they treat him like shit. Aybar has done next to nothing and he’s out there every freaking day.

i would of said this team is an exact replica of the team that showed up for the ALDS last year.. good starting pitching, lots of singles, bad avg w/ RISP, bad bullpen ETC. the hangover from that series hasnt gone away. but seriously people injuries and a tragedy is playing a major role. PATIENCE

that pitching in the World Baseball Classic has thrown Shields off his groove. Maybe his arm wasn’t quite ready when he started throwing gas 100%, and we are seeing the consequences.
