Luis Vizcaino
He was just realeased from the Cubs. He had a crappy ERA last year but he did pitch in coors and he DID have an impressive 9.6 K/9 mark. He has been pretty solid throughout his career and our bullpen could use a shakeup. He has decent upside. Why not take a flier on him?

If he was released by his club during a given contract, they have to pay his salary minus league minimum.

And for what it's worth
he pitched 3.2 scoreless innings with a WHIP of about .540 for the Cubs. He was released to make room for Jeff Samardjiza (or however the F you spell his name).

Fanshots are good
Fanshot: For when you don’t have 75 words to share.
Also: Don’t we have last crack at him, having had the best record last year? I say pick him up if we get the chance. Release Bulger.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.

I was wondering what the difference between a fanshot and a fanpost was.
My bad. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah he hasnt had the greatest year so far…..but the guy has awesome stuff……I’d release PALMER before Bulger.

i agree
about Bulger. this guy has wicked stuff, he just needs to put it together. that type of potential you can’t just give up on. i know that people say hes already in his 30’s and past that potential stuff, but i think he had some kind of injury that set him back like 2 years. so i say stick with him and see it through

I shreiked in pain when he trotted to the mound last night
with the bases loaded (people around me looked at me like I was crazy, as evidently, they didn’t see the two grand slams Bulger gave up like a week ago).
But, he did minimize the damage. Hopefully, he is working through something right now like most of the bullpen is and is starting to figure it out.
In a year of such turmoil, whining still abounds.
