Ortega to start Saturday
Snippet from the bottom of the "Shields = FAIL" article, er I mean "Angels Bid a Farewell to Nick" article by DiGiovanna. Interesting since Ortega has been horrible this season up to now...scraping the bottom of the 40 man apparently!
Hopefully the team's (and mine) last wet eye moment on Thursday morning!
Rotation addition
Right-hander Anthony Ortega, who is 1-1 with a 9.88 ERA in three games at triple-A Salt Lake, is expected to be called up to start Saturday night's game against Seattle, though Scioscia said an official announcement won't come until today.

Wow looks like he earned this promotion.........
But its probably out of necessity. Good luck Anthony
R.I.P Nick Adenhart 1986-2009 You will be greatly missed
Hopefully, we get "lucky" again...
Palmer had a pretty nasty AAA ERA coming into yesterday’s game. Hopefully ¡SI ORTEGA! can pick up where Palmer left off!

Yeah.
The Tigers weren’t really comfortable seeing a new pitcher. Let’s hope the Mariners freeze up the same way.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
Ortega has good stuff...
Dont let two games at SLC deter his ability….
Do it for Nick '09

I am excited to see him pitch...
was just hoping it would be when he had momentum…
Miss you Nick...! RIP
I say Anaheim pepper or Anaheim chile
because that’s the kind of chile pepper Ortega uses most (the company, not the pitcher).
In memoriam Nick Adenhart
looks like Chopper is going down to make room for Ortega
Sorry Ash, at least he didn’t do too bad when he was up here. Hopefully he’ll be back up soon!
World Series '09 - In Memory of #34 Nick Adenhart!
His first warmup pitch prior to inning 1 ...
was a ball that hit the ground, went under Naps’ legs and glove and through to the backstop. Bad omen?
