I'll be in NYC to see the Halos
I will be in the new stadium representing Halos Heaven on Sunday when our Angels take on the Yankers. My girlfriend is afraid I'm going to get us mugged, but the last time I saw the Angels in the Bronx in '96 I only got a few "Hey whydoncha go baaack to Anaheeeeiiim!" catcalls because of my Disney-winged Halos visor.
I think I'll leave my "If Yous A Yank, Yous A Skank" poster at home, but if anyone has any suggestions for good ways to use my time in NYC, I'd appreciate any advice from this blog (cough, cough).

Just catch an Angels Home Run ball and we'll get a screencap. :-)
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
Sorry to say
I think Matt Palmer is pitching against CC so it looks like we’re in for a long one. Then again, CC could suck ass again (which I hope) which would give us better odds.
#34, never forget.
CC hasn't exactly been awesome.
And while Palmer has not been awesome either, I still like our chances at the launching pad.
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
I wanted to vote for
a hangover AND a Halos victory….
We need a pitcher...not a DL itcher!

Advice
Don’t go to any soccer games. Stick with baseball.
:)
Angel Pitching (Adenhart), Angel Defense - get past that.
i was there in 2005
when we swept a series in august. i carried in a broom and was being a jackass and nothing happened to me. yanks fans are all bark and no bite.
if you want to really be scared, wear a mets shirt to a phillies game. then you will get your ass kicked.
Don't try to go to the bathroom during the 7th inning stretch

alas, no tour on the books
we’re rehearsing for some local stuff, and we’re now on Facebook, like other adults.
I'll be making my annual pilgrimage to the Stadium
for the Halo series. I have never, in 19 years, had a problem but for the occasional “Angels Suck!” The new Stadium is cleaner and bigger than the old, but the seats are moved back from the field and the noise intimidation factor is not what it once was. Sucks for them, good for us.
I know I’m being wimpy, but if we split, I’ll be happy.
I’ll be in the left field bleachers for Sunday’s game.
GA GA he's the man, if he can't do it, no one can
Last year
We went to the August game the Angels won by 6 runs – it was awesome!
These nuns were with a very inebriated woman who insisted the sisters take a photo with ‘The Angels’.
(It was miserably hot and humid, so we don’t look as beautiful as usual, but..I’m 2nd from left).
We wore our gear on the subway all the way from Manhattan, and got nothing but grudging respect (‘you own us’ was common).
Have a great time!

Well, we'd all had a few beers, but...
… the really drunk lady took the picture with my camera (surprised it came out).
I did see one of the sisters had beer in her “soda” cup, too.
The drunk lady was the sister-in-law of one of the sisters, which she thought was the funniest thing in the world… besides “Angels & nuns”, anyway. They were nice, considering we beat their team pretty bad.
BTW, Ladybug, thanks for the help with posting the pictures.
The inebriated one is Sister Lastcall.
Step 1 towards returning to respectability: Izzy starts at SS.
I love the rainbow of all three Jerseys!
Hahaha, and it was great that the nuns took a photo with ‘The Angels’! :-)
Let's do this for Nick Adenhart, Courtney Stewart, and Henry Pearson.
THAT PIC IS AWESOME RASKUL
I am a big fan of nuns.

Where's the vote option for:
Miss a portion of the game as a result of the 1,000+ Obscured View Seats in the outfield. Hey, at least you have flat screens to fill you in on the action….
As for things to do, I can only imagine Central Park is in full bloom, so go to Blevedere Castle by the Lake. And while you’re there, sit on the stairs across the Yacht Club.
Also, Katz’s, or Angelo’s Coal Oven Pizza on 57th and 6th. (only about 3-4 blocks from Lex Ave line)

I read the new stadium sells cuts of meat
I say buy some quality ribeyes
Driven into right-center field, Erstad says he has it...the Angels, world champions!
