Some love for Chone from Rosenthal, who asks the question - "what should the Angels do with the Figgins / Aybar / Wood logjam?"

Angels postgame show on AM 830 last night

was a non-stop barrage of calls about why the hell would isn’t getting more playing time with the Angels.

I just have to think: if it’s so goddamn obvious to the rest of the world, then WTF MIKE???

I suspect it had something to do with Aybar's (lack of) performance last night, too

But I agree with your sentiment. When Aybar GIDP’d and then made a dumb error (leading to two Oriole runs), my second thought (first was “AAAAAAHHHHH!”) was “at least now Scioscia will give Wood a start tomorrow.”
