Finally thought of a decent fanpost (new Pitchers)
I'm sitting here on Guam, checking halos heaven for comments and trying to blog, and as usual there is not much going on (7PM here equals sleep time for HHrs). Can't get into any conversations, trying to stir up trouble, and nobody biting. Usually that's okay, but tonight I was especially excited about the beginning of the season and thought there would be someone up I could harrass. Alas, nothing.
So, since I am both bored and excited, I decided to do a fanpost. Havn't done one in quite awhile. My first few ideas were kind of lame:
1. Announce how I was going to stomp goodvibe in the pregame guesses championship this year. That wasn't very interesting because I'm sure everyone already knows I will win this year.
2. Talk about how I am the all knowing King of Angels Wisdom. Beyond stats. All Knowing (may have said that already). But again, I'm sure everyone already knows that.
So, I finally came upon a (great?) idea. On May first I will call you all out. Here it is:
*Who will have the lowest ERA in April - Mose, Ad, or Lu. I'm callin' ya out, Mose dissers. On May 1st, I will report. Who will win. No poll. Step up.
This Fan-Post is authored by an independent fan. Tell us what you think and how you feel.

Adenhart
KId can be quite filthy and so long as ha holds onto his emotions, he’s gonna blow the other two outta the water.
Phys: Well, Coon doesn't have a lot of power but he's a good bunter
Coon: F$%# That!

None will get many starts
Lackey could be recovered from his forearm injury by mid-April and back in the rotation, and they’re still evaluating Escobar’s bounce-back from the SD game on Sat night. So one mediocre game will tank the results for that pitcher, but…
Adenhart
Moseley
Loux

Adenhart
as long as a loosens up his sphincter he can be a dominate pitcher.
Give the young guns a chance...if they suck wellll...

"sitting on Guam"...makes it sound like an egg you're trying to hatch.
I go with Adenhart…as long as the “deer in headlights” reaction remains in the rear view mirror. If THAT returns, then I go with Loux, because the league will be less familiar with him than with Moseley.

Adenhart
He has the best stuff out of the three, and as long as he can hold himself together he will be fine.

Ad-Rock
because the team will baby him with regard to innings pitched and pull him before he has a chance to get crushed. I fully expect both Mose and Loux to have a game where they get pummeled and Scioscia will let them take one for the team. No way that do that to Adenhart.

Interesting theory
Sounds plausible.

Loux may surprise us all once he gets in a regular routine and a little more confident.
I was third in the pregame guesses championship last year and I plan on improving that significantly this year.

Gentlemen, gentlemen...you don't need to get so flipping competitive...
…in fact you can save time and go back to taking inventory of your Hummels collections or listening to your best of Best of N’Sync because in 2009, the championship will be won by none other than…yours truly…sothball.
If you want to continue to argue amongst yourself, make it over things you guys understand. I hear you two had passionate disagreement over what live version of “Copacabana” is better. So, take it away…

Surely you jest.
Or is that “Shirley”?
The winner of the 2009 Pre-game contest will be none other than…

Wait for it…

Ha! You're already too nervous to choose between "surely" and "Shirley".
…just another that will be pleading for a mercy rule sometime around the All Star break…
