"I sympathized with them, because Rodriguez was tough to watch. Here is the funny thing, though, I reminded them: He was also tough to beat."

I dont miss him.......

He wanted to go somewhere else…….Im sure Frankie will let a few get away……he sure as heck tried today.

Lots of things went wrong today to contribute to this loss……not just Fuentes….(or Figgy lol)

I dont remember the defense being this rusty for Frankie.

Confrontation simply means meeting the truth head on - Coach K

Tough to beat

He sure was. Now we have to find someone to take his place. Will it be Fuentes? I don’t know. But this is what I do know: Sosh will find someone if Fuentes can’t cut it. Maybe Arredondo, maybe a current starter.

Still, it is too early to give up on Fuentes.

Angel Pitching, Angel Defense - get past that.

is the starter your talking about Escobar??? and

If Adenhart pitches the way he did today until Lackey Santana and Escobar get back than i think Escobar is headed to the bullpen.

and the reason i dont like K-Rod isnt because he gave us hart attacks every time he closed a game its because he took 1M more to play with anothr team instead of staying with us

He gets a free pass on the first one...

…(ugly as it was). Closers blow saves from time to time.

2 or 3 blown saves suggests a trend, more than that is a habit – that’s when we can get on his back, for now it’s just a (very) bad outing. He needs support from his defense, that much is clear.

I’d really rather be wrong about number 4

I see red people

In all fairness to Fuentes, his strike zone was being squeezed and Mathis would have

made the play on that dribbler. Also, Mathews should have also made the catch. Sometimes a blown save needs to be given to more than the pitcher.

I am a fair weather fan so the Angels better win!

Except when it was Frankie

He’d get the BOTG every time he blew one and not enough Panthers for actually saving 62 of them last season.
