Wow this is shocking news to wake up too. He pitched a great game last night six shutout innings only to have the bullpen blow it for him. He had a lot of potential and we were hoping he’d be an Angel for the next decade. We were counting on him to fill in as a starter while Lackey and Escobar are healing.

I am praying for comfort for his family, and to find out it was hit-and-run, it was a tragedy that didn’t have to happen. He was just in the wrong intersection at the wrong time.

Adenhart

This is an absolute tragedy. I was watching him pitch just last night, this is just unbelievable and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Its horrible that a man this young can have his life ended by a hit and run. My heart goes out to the Angel’s organization as well.
